Review of the Invicta 0360 Reserve Venom

I think there is no other word that so aptly describes the Invicta 0360 quite as well as gargantuan. This isn't entirely unexpected as Invicta is known throughout the industry for their oversized watches . However, I want to say at this point that even with Invicta's repertoire of oversized watches the 0360 from the Reserve Venom collection stands bezel and lugs over the rest in terms of size.

Invicta crafts this watch from stainless steel , with the unidirectional bezel made from rose gold ion plated stainless steel. From the side view you can see that the scalloped bezel makes up about 1/3 of the case height. The case height stands at 22mm – that's just 2mm short of a full inch! The bezel is great for on-the-go readability with its black stenciled Arabic numerals. The case diameter comes in 54mm, and the lug-to-lug measurement is 62mm.

The chronograph pushpieces and crown are equally as prominent as the rest of the watch, both of which are screw locked. This helps maintain the water resistance of 1000 meters (3,300 feet). The caseback carries the Invicta Reserve emblem. The 0360 is fitted with a black leather strap , secured via a tang type buckle made from rose gold ion plated stainless steel. Strap changing is very easy on this watch, so getting aftermarket straps is a real option.

The dial is black on this model with a radial design adding a measure of sophistication to this watch. The luminous hour markers are raised dots, while the luminous hands are skeletonized for the best in legibility. At the 2 position is the true seconds counter. The chronograph subdials at the 6 and 10 positions display 1/10 of a second and minute readouts respectively. The chrono-seconds are indicated by a central hand. At 4:30 is a date display window.
